Always Learning and Searching for New Opportunities
The thing I have discovered in my six years of working online is that it is really a journey. Whatever you do, there is always more to learn, and new opportunities coming along.
I started earning money on the Internet by selling on eBay. I was listing a minimum of 50 auctions a week and at one point reached silver power seller status. This was very useful for me as I could do eBay at home in between looking after my family. Selling on eBay and making money from it is not an easy thing to do. It took two or three years of selling before I really felt like I was achieving some success. But I learned so much. I had to find stuff that would sell, write auctions, take good photographs and learn how to list them properly and then market what I had to sell. And if you’ve ever sold on eBay

This is a guest post from Alicia who works online as a virtual assistant. If you would like to tell your story about being a WAHM online feel free to contact me. Thanks Alicia!
The Virtual Assistant with Her Head in the Clouds
When I started my online business I was full of hormones and one fairly large baby boy. Yup, I was pregnant—and laid off. If you haven’t experienced this before, I can tell you, it doesn’t make for a fabulous combination. However, I’m that girl who always finds a silver lining to every cloud.
My husband and I never intended to live with just one income when we decided to start a family and the layoff was not something we had planned on either. I didn’t have much success finding work so I turned to the internet. My background was in social work and business management. I wanted very badly to find something I could do successfully online that

I asked Carrie Norder to tell me about her WAHM life so we can share what it means to live your love but still feel a little crazy sometimes. Carrie gave me a wonderful daily diary depicting a family that works hard and sticks together.
Thank you Carrie for sharing with us.
Are you crazy?
This is a comment I hear all of the time! My answer is usually, “Well, yes some days I feel like I am! But God has blessed me with incredible patience!” I have four children (ages 3 to 9), run an in-home daycare and I am a director with Thirty One Gifts. Yes my house hold and life are incredibly crazy, but seriously I would not trade it for anything! I have learned how to manage things, and I am pretty strict on calendars and time management. I am not saying I have it all together! There are some days where I do not even get

Relationships are really important – especially in business.
… and if you are working from home – then you are in business.
Even putting that aside for a moment, if you just consider yourself a blogger, then relationships are still important if you want your blog to get anywhere, but more so if you want it to bring in dollars because you just can’t run a business in a vacuum.
An Example Close To Home

Here at Ramblings of a WAHM I like to explore ways to earn money online. But sometimes we need to earn some extra cash offline also. There is nothing wrong with a little income diversification?
Evan has written me a post on quick ways to earn some extra cash this weekend, on and off line.

Want to Earn Some Extra Cash this Weekend?
The weekend is approaching and unfortunately you have nothing to do. It’s not because there aren’t options, it’s because you don’t have any money in the budget to take advantage of the ones that have peeked your interest. You could sit around moping about it, or you could use this “problem” as an opportunity to use some of the creative ways that are available to you when it comes to making a little extra money.
Do you need a few ideas to get the creative
