In this video I address what to write to your email list and how you should view them. Yep, you need to see them as a gift to your business.

I agree completely about being person with your email. When you do something like this that the readers being to relate to you and trust you. Personal life stories can be used to gain trust and there is nothing wrong with it. After all the readers too are humans.

Shalu,
Personal stories are the most powerful way of reaching people. If you are willing to open up and have people relate to you then you will surely have friends and followers online (and off).

It’s really awesome tips what I observed in video and writing. I’m searching for this kind of quality article for about 2 hour and after a long time I get it here. Thanks for write down such a cool article.
Alli, great tips. I like Aweber too and can’t wait to be able to return to them. I use Mailchimp right now which serves it’s purpose for my small list.
I like getting personal with my subscribers and giving them first looks at products or services I’m thinking of making. It is their input that makes the product better as I can cater to their needs.
Sara,
I think it all about details and letting people in where not everybody gets to be. It makes people feel special and part of an elite few.

Hi Allie
I really enjoyed your video, one of the things I must do is overcome my fear and start making videos….
Building a good relationship with our list is so important, I have signed up for some in the past and all they do is send out promotional emails that they want me to buy, that is not good and the quickest way to get me to unsubscribe!
I would rather have a small but responsive list that I can connect with, like you say they become your friends.
Thanks for sharing, hope you have a great day.
Pauline
Pauline,
I hate when all I get is promotional emails. I know many companies tend to do that but at least relate your promo or what you are selling to real life or make it fun.
Just start doing the videos. I was so nervous at first. And as you can see I don’t have the best lighting or makeup or hair. (I can’t stand my hair in videos! LOL.) But I decided I couldn’t wait anymore to make videos. Now I like doing them. I hope you start yours soon.

Hi Allie, I always find your videos very personable as well as useful. I’d never really thought of the idea of making the email list have a hint of exclusivity. From now on I shall introduce email only offers, thanks for your insight.
Michelle,
Thanks for the compliment. I was once told to make my readers feel like friends, as if I was just talking to them. It calmed my nerves and helped me to just talk.
I hope my tip helps.

You can’t argue with the fact that an email list is very important to maximizing your online business’s potential. It’s always easier to reach people who are already interested in what you have to say.
