It has been, let’s see, over a month since I decided to take the plunge into trying to make money on the internet. I have 50 pages of notes, a stack of books at home (some partially read, some completed) dedicated to learning everything from blogging to affiliate marketing and a dedicated website, here, well blog, to show for my work. All you can see at this time is a blog with one boring post.
Let’s get down to it, I’m a procrastinator. Professional late comer. I don’t know why I do this, I just do. I think part of the why would be that everything needs to be perfect, at least in my head. BUT I know ultimately one needs to just start! So here is a useless, “rambling” blog post that later I will regret I wrote and posted but I am hoping my fingers will lead my brain into a bloggy frenzy and I get this “show on the road”, as my mom use to say.

I think it would be nice to have your post dated.

Recently, I changed my permalink structure to exclude the date, I wanted a more simple permalink. This then changed the structure of my posts to not include the date. I am working on getting that date back up on the post. Thanks for the reminder, it slipped my mind.
Interesting comment about the date. I removed the date from mine on purpose because I wanted them to be timeless to anyone coming into the blog from that page.

Alison-
I did remove the date from the post permalink but later placed it at the end of the each blog post. I did this because I personally wanted to see the dates if I come to my own blog.
You really need to search for it but it is there.
I know, I wanted to be timeless but for my blog it is about a journey so if I change something, learn or make a mistake I want to look back a use that old info as reference. But many bloggers try to keep it timeless and that’s good-like a book.

I work tomorrow. 30 3rd graders. I’m gonna be tired. But it is the last day before spring break, I hope the teacher has fun things for me to do with them.
I may have to visit this weekend.

Stop. I wanted to erase a while back but I was convinced it would be one that I look back and think “wow! I have come a long way!”
But I still don’t like my first post. It needed a bigger impression.
