When I began Ramblings of a WAHM I had no idea that the work from home arena was so large! The plethora of WAHMs out there is amazing and inspiring!
Everyday that I log onto my blog I am thankful for the opportunity the Internet has given me to stay home and work. I love being an affiliate marketer or online WAHM.
First, What is a WAHM?
Before I can define “online WAHM” I need to define “WAHM”.
This is an easy one. Simply look up “WAHM” and you will get the definition.
But if you need to hear it from me, in general a WAHM is a mom with a small business at home. Or Work at Home Mom.
She may have built a business from scratch by selling something she made or invented.
She may be a sales associate for top line company like Avon or Stella & Dot.
Or she may be like me, trying to

Transforming those Long and Ugly Links
In today’s Internet world it is not uncommon to see original links being transformed into some other link that is shorter or prettier.
Those of us on Twitter see shortened URL’s constantly thanks to the help of Bit.ly, Goo.gl and so many more services. Changing the URL in this fashion helps sharing in a 140 character space much easier. And if one chooses to, he or she can follow the stats of their most prized URL’s.
If you are an affiliate marketer you are no stranger to the world of changing URL’s this includes the above mentioned and also the process of cloaking links.
Cloaking links, also known as masking links, URL shortening and URL redirecting, has had a sketchy past. When the technique was first brought about it was used in many dirty ways to trick buyers and readers into thinking they were headed to one location on the Internet when in fact they were headed to another. This immoral tactic still exists and I see it often

This post is somewhat of a transition post. Hopefully it is taking me (and you) from learning and knowing about blogging to learning and implementing online income tactics.
Of course, I will never stop learning about blogging and talking to you about it. But I need to change direction and focus.
It is time for a change.
Next Steps for Me Streamlining RWAHM
Right now I am working on streamlining my blog, meaning I am making it faster and more user friendly. I am doing this to prepare myself for my online income journey. I mean, I can’t move on when the house I built is in shambles. Right?
During the past few months I have not worked very hard on building an income that I can use to help my family prosper more. Frankly speaking, I am angry at myself. This is the main reason I came online back in 2010.
Yet I can’t be

I was just finishing up a post I have scheduled for Thursday about an Action Plan for my Marketing Plan and I was wondering why I didn’t create a marketing plan a year ago? I knew I wanted to create an income using my blog. I knew I needed to guide myself with some type of plan. So why didn’t I conceive of a marketing plan?
I didn’t know where to start.
After months of trial and error I believe I have the know-how to create a plan. Sure I could have created a basic plan months ago and I did sorta, Show Me Your Goals and I’ll Show You Mine. But I cannot remember even implementing an actual plan, my goals actually feel short. I think I went about the whole process in the wrong way.
If you read any of my earlier posts you’ll see I

This is a plea. A plea to all the people that make or want to make an income on the internet.

Answer.com: Overwhelmed: ” rendered powerless especially by an excessive amount or profusion of something.”
I am finding myself overwhelmed with too much information. The internet seems to be an infinite universe of stuff! And I am lost somewhere in another solar system that is not mine trying to find my way back. If you read my recent post about my notebook and all the data I have you would know I have started feeling very overwhelmed by this concept of making money on the Internet.
My problem is that I know how to do it, I just don’t know where to start.
I decided that my blog is my “dumping ground”. (That sounds bad but I do “dump” all my thoughts here.) The place I get to share what I have done and what I have not done (right now, what I HAVE
